Metal is a highly durable, eco-friendly coating process that molecularly bonds a thin layer of gold (14k) to a base metal (stainless steel) in a vacuum chamber. It is scratch-resistant, hypoallergenic, water resistant.
About Gold-Filled Jewelry:
Gold-filled jewelry is naturally tarnish-resistant, but we recommend removing it when possible and storing it in a dry place. Frequent exposure to soaps, lotions, and constant friction against the skin can cause the gold layer to wear more quickly over time.
If worn continuously—such as while swimming, showering, or sleeping—you may begin to see signs of wear within 6 months to a year. With proper care and regular removal, your gold-filled pieces can maintain their beauty for many years, even a lifetime.
Scrapping and scuffing on rough surfaces will result in damage to the Gold Filled and will show base metal. We will not exchange or refund.
